Brought a new horizon and gain clarity on showing up as your best mamaself. So let's build you up today. Let's dive into it. Hello, everybody, how are you doing? Welcome to another podcast episode, episode number thirty four, which is extra extra special to me because I'm gonna announce the application launched. Yeah, moments application is gonna be launched very soon. I mean just today, I mean first of August, twenty twenty two. So I'm always going to remember this uh date because it's very special to me. I was really waiting for this day for a long time, after lots and lots of working and honest project Um on the whole solution, the comprehensive solution that it was in my mind from the very first day of ideation of mamanes Um, I was waiting for this day. So eventually we are here, and congratulations to all of you, because I do believe that we are a team now. We are a community of like minded people. The fact that you're listening to this podcast episode it means that you are part of a momanes team. So thank you all for all of your supports, for all of your feedbacks, for all of your companionship during this Um period. So, Um, I was thinking that, in honoring of this day, Um, I'm gonna tell you a little bit more in depth about what I've been through from the very beginning of the ideation of momanist till this day, because, Um, you know, I do consider that you, as a listener of Moman is podcasts, are, Um, my teammates, you know, because, Um, you were with me from the very beginning, and so maybe this part and this journey Um would be worth listening for you. So, Um, for those of you who know me, you know that Maman ist idea just started after, Um, I mean me becoming a mother. So, after becoming a mother, I started to face some challenges in my life and in order to tackle them,...

I started to just search to just provide solutions for my own life. Um, that, by the way, I've described all of them in episode number one, so you can go and listen to that if you didn't listen to it. So, Um, the story short, after tackling and after managing everything in my life, Um, I started to share my knowledge with other moms because I thought that all of the mothers need to know this stuff in order to manage their life in a better way in order to change their mindset around motherhood, in order to make it more pleasurable and enjoying for themselves. And so the idea of Mama and nest was in my mind around six or seven months after becoming a mom Um and I sat on this idea for around one years. Yeah, one whole year, even more than one year. I started to search more, I started to benchmark, I started to ask other Moms, I designed different questionnaires for the Moms, asked them, like the relatives, every one of the family members, what do they need? What do they think? And I started to know that, well, this Um is something very, very I'm in common, I mean the challenges that I've been through. So we needed something, we need as a solution for the mothers to feel better. Um and I started the tagline be the best version of yourself, Mama, because of a reason, because I myself was Um, really, really feeling overwhelmed at that time with different parenting styles, different parenting books, different materials, Um and I thought that maybe I need to know all of them, otherwise I'm not a good mom. But the moment that I understood that all I need to do is to start prospering. All I need to do is to start becoming a better version of me, because my children are like me. So everything, try, everything, I mean Um turns into a kind of straightforward things. So I felt really better and I feel over not overwhelmed. Timing M and I wanted to shout it out to other MOMS. So I chose this tagline for myself, but at the same time, because I'm kind of applicable person, so I thought I'm not going to tell them just um good words, I'm going to create infrastructures for them. And because of the kind of background that I had in I t and engineering and stuff like that, I could see the potential shows to create the infrastructures for the MOMS. Um and I could see clearly that, um, the applications out there like Um, the ones that just named the application by the name of the mother, they were not for the mother, they were for the kid. You know, a mom after becoming a mom, I mean a woman after becoming a mom, has some specific needs related to this new role of motherhood, but those needs are not met in those applications, Um that are designed for the kids, like, for example, Um and mom needs to know how to manage our life and mom needs to know how to manage your stuff. So Um, in an application that, for example, they are going to tell you about the vaccination of the kid, about the details, about the development of the kid. Okay, they're perfect, their value able. But Um, what about other needs that...

...a mom needs to have? What about her bad feelings? What about her challenges? What about Um, stuff like that. So I thought, okay, well, Um, maybe this is in my mind and I can find some application around here. But I started benchmarking. Not only I could find any application in Theran, but also in the global market. I couldn't find an application with this concept, I mean with just specifically focusing on the mom as a person with with specific needs. So then I told myself, well, maybe this is your mission in your life. You need to focus on that. You're the person who has a good knowledge of I t and also you understood that there are some challenges that moms are facing. So Um, I started to just think of it in this perspective that I want to help all of the moms in order to make it, uh like a more pleasurable journey of motherhood for all of them, in order to convince them that Motherhood could be the start, I mean the beginning, of our prosperity, because for for a lot of us, motherhood is like forgetting about our dreams and goals. And so, with this in mind, I started to design a comprehensive solution in order to fulfill this dream of mind. Um, and I'm so proud of the decision that I've made. In the very first days, I thought that that the whole concept and the whole solution should be a combination of Um community, an application and Um, an academy, Um for for the MOMS, in order to help them to be more empowered, not to film more empowered by learning them the skills that they need in order to leave in this modern lot, I mean world, by learning them the stuff, by giving them the tools and techniques that they need. So Um, I started with the podcast from the very first day. It was in two languages, farest in English. I started sharing my knowledge and and very soon I received a lot of feedbacks from the MOMS that, oh my God, this stuff are really the kind of things that we needed. So Um, I tried to develop it more. Uh. Soon I received up some feedbacks from the MOMS, I mean the Persian moms or or or the kind of listeners that listen to the Farsi podcast. Um, they wanted to know how on earth they can be able to speak English. So, UM, based on those needs, I developed an English Academy specifically for the MOMS, with a very new method, because I was, I mean, teaching English for a while to the ISLESA students. But Um, in modest English Academy, we are doing this in a very, very innovative and new way, just specifically for the MOMS. And soon after that I started to teaching about the techniques and to to just plan and manage our life, because goal setting and planning was a very, Um, I mean important thing to in my life. From the very first years of my life, I was always a planning queen, and so, after becoming a mom, I could see clearly that they don't work at all. So all of the techniques and tools that I knew for planning and goal setting, they weren't working. And so, after lots and lots of trial and error, I could find a way to to just...

...manage everything, to balance everything, to to reach the best self definition that was in my mind. So I started teaching them first in the podcast then and the workshops, Um, Um, in a very kind of applicated, applicable way, Um, and I got very, very great feedbacks from you all. Then, Um, we designed the planning tool, I mean the paper planner, moments paper planner, which helps the MOMS to manage their life, to to plan their life. And, as I do believe that, and it goes, by the way, a very great success, and as I do believe that, Um, all we need to do in order to succeed in any kind of goal that we have is to have commitment and consistency. Um. Then I created another like platform by the name of Mama Best Club. It kind of support club that helped the MOMS to be committed in their goals and plans in a way that was Um, tailor made for their mom life. This concept was not only new an iron, but also a lot of Um. I mean I couldn't literally see anywhere like this concept. So it kind of support club for planning and goal setting and stuff like that. And, Oh my God, I hope I don't forget about any of the services, because there are a lot, um. And so yeah, this went and went and went until this day that I'm going to launch the application Um. And Yeah, about the community. We have a community of like minded people that I'm so proud of every member of them. We have live sessions with them by the name of mom talk. We have another live sessions name of Mama, with the name of Mama next. So, all in all, we are Um, a group of like minded people, a group of mothers who want to grow and become our best version, because we do believe that this is the only way that we can serve our children in a better way. Well, Um, thank you, thank you all for being my companion in this path. Thank you one another time. It was all of your feedbacks, it was all of your sharings that Um helped me to continue until this day of my life. And now moment ist is not only an idea but also an organization. There are lots of team members that are in our team that are working in moment ist. So we made it. It was a kind of entrepreneurship. So now I can call myself an entrepreneur. Mom An ist is not my main career, but my passion project. I do have my own job as a business intelligence analyst, but I do work on Mama Ist project in every kind of time that I can find some of my rest, I do work on my project. Whenever I want to just Um, I mean do something for myself, I prefer to do it for a moment. Is because I do love it. So thank you all and uh, let's get to introducing that the key team members that I told you in the beginning of this podcast episode, uh, the Um. You know, there were a lot of people that helped me in this way, but Um, you know, it is the time to just tell you that without two of them, I could never make it. Two of my dearest Um people in my life. So let's get to introducing them and tell you about the details of our relationship, of what they have done for me, and what do they think about Mamma is? Well, let me introduce you one of the key team members here in mamanest Um, our Business Development...

Manager, Dr Shahram Reza Um. Dr Res A has a PhD in my tea management. He's a university professor Um. He's the board of advisors for in science and Technology Park and it's been a mentor for a lot of successful startups since ten years ago, and I'm extremely honored to say that he's my brother. I've learned a lot from him during Um, all of the years that I was working um in Iran. Well, let me start with this question. Uh, do you remember the day that I proposed mamanst to you for the first time? I think it was October two thousand nineteen, if I'm not wrong. So it was the first time that I proposed the idea to you and at that time you really supported me. But what was in your mind at that time that you supported Momentis and what did you think about the necessity of having the solution at that time? Thank you very much. I think momentist is one of the best ideas about empowering mothers that I have ever heard about it, and I think about two or three years ago that you inform me that you want to work on it. I just imagine that it will help uh mothers uh for for for their life and the futures, because most of the time, I'm thinking too loud that mothers needs to, I mean mostly in Iran, needs to prove themselves and to know, uh, what exactly they have in in their life, and they have to for proving themselves. They have to work twice comparison with with a bad so empowering them is one of the best way to uh push them and to show them that what exactly they having in their themselves and to help them to have a better life, and I think this idea is one of the brilliance ideas that I've hurt. Well, thank you, thank you for this explanation. It was short and sweet. Thank you so much. Okay, for the next question. Here in moment, as we do believe that and mom needs to be a better version of herself because that's all she can do for her children and in order to just actively do something in order to become our best version. We do believe that we need to learn some skills in order to be more empowered in in order to be able to live in this modern world. I want to ask you that as a father, because I know that you're father of a very sweet tween Um, and as a man, as a husband, what do you think of this idea and how it can help the families? Um, totally. I think this idea can help mothers to be the best version of themselves and in a family, when a mother improve, the whole family will improve. An expression. That said, when a man successful, for sure there is a woman in behind that helped him to be successful. So mothers can empower even the children and husband and the whole family.

So be a best version of mothers can help whole family. Well, thank you for your answer and now for the last question. I want to ask you something. I remember in some stages Um, when I was really tired of creating content in two languages, both in parts and English, because from the very first day we started to create this platform in in English and farsty because it could reach to a wider range of audience and we thought that maybe moments is not restricted to Iran. So Um, in the meanwhile, when I was really tired of creating contents and and uh, I mean the amount of the work that it needed, you really motivated me to continue. So what is your point? I mean, why do you think as startup or an idea in total, like Mama Nest, is not restricted to Iran, and why do you think of it as something like Um related to the world, so like it is a global issue? Yes, I can't remember that. When, if you want to start this idea, I ask you to, besides far see or Persian, pleases, uh, start with English version as well. I know that you have lots of problems with the content because you work yourself without any help, but you started with English and Farcy at the same time. That's why I'm telling you this idea is just it's not just for Iran, and I think this idea will help lots of mother around and this will be global idea, and I'm very happy that you started with English person as well, and I hope that you can do it in other version or other languages. Thank you so much for participating in this interview, Um and thank you for all of your supports and all you have done for Mama Nest. Have a very great very much and wish you all the best, the best for momnist. Well, let me introduce you one of the other key team members of Mama and nest, our CTO, I mean chef, technology officer and product owner of momanist application, Dr Saintanuri Um. His the I t project manager and a senior business analysts, working for a lot of years in development of I t solutions for a lot of startups, and now he's working on this project. Mamast, I mean Um. He has not only worked technically for the project, but also supported me emotionally, supported me in free way that that he could in order to just make this dream a reality, and I'm so honored to introduce him to the podcast. He's my husband, Um. So Welcome, Hussein, welcome to the PODCAST, and so please to have you in the podcast. Thank you for Um accepting this invitation to come to the podcast. Well, Um, thank you, in the first place for all of your supports during the last two or three years of our life. Now let me start with this question. Um, do you remember the day that I just proposed this idea of moment is with you? It was around three years ago and, Um, I just want to know what was your opinion really from the very first day of Um, I mean proposing this idea and ideation of moment is. Well, everybody, and thanks for giving me this opportunity. As a first person who receives...

...no one as proposal, I can summarize my opinion in this way. You know, in business analysis we believe that defining the rights problem or opportunity is nine percent of solving it. So, when you were defining moment solution, you have experienced the challenges by yourself. It was really precious. On the other hand, in project management it is accepted that every idea and project is completed in the progressive elaboration process means more you go forward, more you know the problem, the circumstances there, risk responses and so on. But when you propose moments, it was incredibly amazing that in the first step you have defined the problem and solution so comprehensive. Was Really surprised. Well, thank you so much for the answer to the previous question and now we want to go through another question. Well, UM, probably no one better than you, Um, does know what were the problems and challenges and ups and downs we've been through during the past three years of our life. Um, I mean for the implementation of Momus Platform, and we have it even every once in a while. Just I want to know, Um, did any time happen, I mean that you feel like well, Um, momentus application, monus platform, it's not gonna be launched or it's not going to be that successful. Did you have, I mean, any experience of doubting in the success of this platform or not? Yeah, yeah, I agree with you that it was a challenging path and the good news is that it would be the same, you know, in a certain ecosystem. You have to be in loved with your idea and your project to get successful. However, I had tons of reasons that you could make it. If I want to have an academic reason, I can say that I know the Organization Life Cycle for information to infance period to AH growth and so on, and almost the characteristics of each period. I was not shocked by the work prush at the beginning. The second reason, reason is that I know you, master is at the founder and I do I know that you never give up, so, as the backbone of momentist solution, I trusted you and your faith to your way. The third reason is the idea itself. You know momnest is a comprehensive and complete solution which can meet the requirement of each taste. And the last reason, which is almost not the least, is that I believe, I strongly believe, that when you press to a secret goal, the whole universe will help. Well, thank you so much. Thank you for all of your support during this time, and it really meant a lot to me. Okay, well, as the product owner of momust application, I want you, Um to tell all of the momentous followers and audience um about the vision of development of application? Um So um. Is The momust application just restricted to the features that we've see in this version, or do we have any development plan for that? So a challenging question, you know. I want to answer you and, on the other hand, keep a surprise for momentous audiences. I can say that every art product, and specifically momus application, is a living creature. So it will grow and it will change every...

...day and to put it in a nutshell, I can say that in near future you will see and all you one solutionnes, you know as a mom, all your needs, ah, will be met in Mo honest solution. Thank you so much for accepting this invitation and coming to the PODCAST. It was a very nice chat with you. Thank you so much and have a very good day. Thank you, Massa, and we wish you, mom honest and all the moms the best, as I believe that Mama is the holiest concept in the world and I would be proud if I can play a little role in helping MOMS. Thank you again for starting this valuable way. I'm Bai.
