Hello and welcome to episode number to any nine, where we're going to talk about personal growth, which is a very juicy topic because almost always you're thinking about how we can put more time and our personal growth, how we can invest more and ourselves, and we are always wondering how we can find time to do that, specially as a mom. So let's go and, in the first place, talk about the definition...

...of personal growth. Personal Growth, as you might know, is one of the sections of our life. So consider the will of life. It has ten sections. On one of the sections, as personal growth, it means something that it can do to invest in yourself to help you grow. So, in the first place, we need to change our mindset around it. It's just further than attending lots of classes. It's further than reading rows and rows of developmental books. It could be reading something about nutrition, it could be working with a coach, a business coach, a health coach, anything that is a kind of investment in your self. So, with this mindset, maybe you are not obliged to attend any physical class, maybe you're not obliged to do something, for example, on a regular basis, on a scheduled bassis, to, I mean do something for your personal growth. With this mindset, I want to go to the second point that I want to mention for you. In my opinion, we have two types of personal growth. One is casual personal growth and one is intentional personal growth. And why do I mean by that? You know, most of the things that are in our mind for the personal growth like, for example, taking part in one of the classes or read that book or anything like that, are in the category of intentional personal growth. It means that we plan them out in advance and we plan them, we scheduled them in our program and then we are committed to do them for our personal growth. And maybe, with this definition, these kind of tasks are the things that are not really possible to...

...do, that are not really doable in some of the seasons of our life as a mom, and I'm sure that you might have had this experience before, and in this way, I can totally understand you and I can totally relate to you about not having time for personal growth or maybe not being able to put any time for your personal growth. But let's see, what is the definition of casual personal growth? Casual personal growth means that you do something for your personal growth, but without any plan, not with concentration. So we can find a nonproductive time of your day and then do some sort of casual personal growth in that block of time. So let's see, what are the Non Productive Times of our day? As a mom, you have a lot of time in the day that we are focusing on, for example, the household chores, or we're washing the dishes, were driving the kids, drop of everything like. These are the Times that are nonproductive because we cannot concentrate on anything on those buckets of time, but we can use them for the casual personal growth. You know totally I am opponent of multitasking. I think that multitasking will reduce our productivity in the long run and it will not lead to good results. So I'm not a fan of doing two two things at the same time. But in your nonproductive times of the day, like washing the dishes or anything, you can use that for some sort of personal growth, but casually, without any plan, like, for example, listening...

...to a podcast, listening to an audiobook. So what are the best means of casual personal group? I can say that listening to a podcast is one of the best things that we can do for our personal growth casually, because we whenever we find any time like this, a kind of nonproductive time, whenever you're watching the dishes or anything, we can just put something in our ears and just hear that, just hear someone talking about some topic, and we will get something casually. We will grow occasually and we do not really need to plan for that in advance, that, for example, I want to listen to this episode on Saturday or to listen to that episodes on Sunday, but whenever we find any time like this, we can just go and grab our headphones and then put it in our ears and just listen to the podcast episode and reap the benefits of that in the long run. So this is the meaning of casual personal growth. For example, consider while you're driving to drop off your kids. So this time could be one of the brilliant times that you can listen to, for example, audible. They can listen to audiobooks, and in this way you will grow, although without any kind of plan, although it is casual, but you will grow and it is really better than doing some sort of I mean like scrolling the social media or listening to a music that you have heard that for a hundred times. I know that all of the times we don't have the kind of motivation to listen to something beneficial, but at least any person of the time we can do that. And if we prepare ourselves for that, whenever that situation comes up,...

...we can go and grab that. And what do I mean by preparedness? I mean that we can choose some of the podcasts on our mobile phone, we can download some audio books on our mobile phone or on our on our car, and whenever it POPs up, whenever this situation pops out, we can go and grab them. But if we do not think of them before, I mean in advance, whenever that situation comes we might not really understand what should we do. And so we go and, for example, watch the Netflix, we go and listen to the music that we have heard a hundred times before and do what we have done before. But I want to tell you that we can casually grow if we are prepared for that, if we think of our time like any kind of strategic or any kind of valuable I mean think that we have in our life, the most valuable thing impact is our time. So we can really reap the benefits of even the nonproductive times of our day. So this is the casual personal growth that can really happen every day of our life. So if we inventory one week of our life, we can understand that we have at least ten hours of nonproductive time in our week. So, and I say at least because it is around twenty hours for each person and you need to inventory that to understand what are the numbers for your life. But take, for example, these twenty hours. If you could do some sort of casual personal growth on even fifty percent of the hours, it really comes ten hours of casual personal growth and in the long run it could be miraculously helpful for your development. So please...

...inventory your nonproductive time for this week and then be prepared to do something in these times of the day in order to casually grow. So this was the casual personal growth. And what about the intentional personal growth? Intentional personal growth is that definition of I mean do we something intentionally with plan that we have thought about it before, we know all of the details about it and we put the name of intentional personal growth and it because we have intentionally done that. It is deliberately scheduled for us and unfortunately we think of personal growth most of the times as intentional personal growth. But, as I told you earlier in this podcast, we need to know that there are a lot of times that it can casually grow and we do not need to be intentionally, I mean committed to a kind of course or anything to grow. So that casual personal growth is really helpful, specially for a month's life who is so, so busy, and it can be really beneficial. But the intentional personal growth means whenever you're scheduling something in advance and you want to be committed to that, I want you to do it. Do this intentional personal growth, if you have any. Do it in your work block time, do it in a time that it can concentrate, do it in your morning block time, any time that you can concentrate, and please consider it as something useful. Some the times, whenever we are, for example, dispatching all of our task into the blocks of time for our day, we put a lot of things related to our profession in block time. We put the house stuff to...

...the setup block time, we put some of the other stuff to the warning block time, and when it comes to our personal growth, we don't really know where to put that, but I'm here to tell you that, because it is a kind of investment in yourself and because it can help you grow, so can literally put it in your work block time and in this way you can, after a while, be more realistic with how many hours it can put for your intern intentional personal growth. You know, these days I receive a lot of questions about what can we do with a kind of overwhelming number of online classes that we've registered and we don't know when we can find time to even attend them. How can we do to, I don't know, Dicklotter, our soul from all of the courses that we have bought, and I want to tell you that if we think of this personal growth, because it is in the category of intentional personal growth, if we think of it this way, so realistically, when this week of Your Life Your time block and you see that you have only four hours for your work block time and you have all of the other stuffs in your professions, so maybe you can find only one hour to put on your intentional personal growth, and in this way you can totally understand that. Okay, that's enough. I don't want to buy any other classes. I don't want to attend in any other class, says this is my time, realistically, and so in the long run it will help you to reduce your slip, to reduce your stress, to not feel overwhelmed because of a lot of the intentional burden that you put on yourself for your personal growth. So this was it. Let's recap today's topic. I've told you that personal growth means the time, the end and...

...the energy that you put on growing yourself and investing yourself. And it could be something like receiving a kind of one on one coaching with your business coach. It could be something like attending class, it could be something like reading a book, and I want you to be more creative about your personal growth activities that it can do so it is not only restricted to, I don't know, reading a lot of books, to attending a lot of classes. It could be even just getting some information about nutrition because of the season of the life that you're in and your for example, and you need, for example, this kind of information. So personal growth could be like this. Secondly, I told you about two types of personal growth. One was casual personal growth and the second one was intentional personal growth. For the casual personal growth. We don't need productive time. We can use the nonproductive times of the day and then, with some sort of preparedness, we can with the benefits of those times of our day. And I told you that they are not really a few hours of the week, they are around ten to twenty hours of the week, because most a lot of times you're washing the dishes, a lot of the times we're driving to pick up someone or go somewhere. So he can use these times that are nonproductive and do something casually to grow. And I told you that one of the best means are listening to a podcast or listening to an audiobook or anything. So I want you to inventory your time for the week ahead and see what are the Times that are nonproductive and then be prepared for them for the next week to do something for your personal growth casually. And then I told you about the intentional personal growth,...

...which means doing something with plan and I told you that please put it in your work block time and when you're realistic about your time blocking, then you will be realistic about how much I mean intentional personal growth. You should plan for yourself for a week. Maybe in this way you will reduce the burden of attending to a hundred of classes each week, and maybe it will help you to be more realistic about how many books you can read in a month. So this was it. I hope that this concepts could help you to be more realistic with your life, but just let go of the excuses that all of us have that we, as a mom, cannot really find time to put on our personal growth, and I hope that this journey of motherhood would be full, full of growth and fulfillment and joy for all of you.
