...of this episode might absorb you cause. If I like it shouldn' t be this way. I mean your afternoons struggling to prepare something to eat, and you want to end this vicious cycle of always being stressed out at this time of the day you might heard about milk, Laddin milk, repping and all that stuff, as a solution to this problem that you are struggling with, you might being to watch a lot of meal prepping videos on Youtube, instagram or throughout the web, in hope for the perfect recipes systems or anything that create this seamless frame of a tidy kitchen, happy woman, Nice Neil in no time for your home too or even the paintress kind of stuff that you definitely have seen and they' re also pleasant and nice that make us think that why not? We will recreate the same in our house too, and you feel uplifted and start for the first week to implement all they' ve told you, but in reality it doesn' t work that way. It' s not applicable for you. You become angry about yourself. You could blame on yourself like always and think of yourself as someone who is not capable of managing her meals and yeah, it makes sense for all of us. I mean it happened and is happening for most of us on a daily basis. Does this situation makes sense? Now? What do you do to Canterac this process? Okay, Mamma. I wanted to reiterate my firm belief that mom' s life is really unique, and so it should be considered with its own circumstances and we need a solution or a system that feats our mom life situation, because, let' s face it, we' re not leaving in isolation, and we should be rational about that. We' re going to walk away with a tailor made approach of what I say:...

Male Management for our mom life. I have an easy system for you, I mean for your meal management and it starts with meal planning in this episode ' m going to cover the other parts of his male management system in the upcoming episodes. Maybe next week and the week after that, so grab a pen of paper and, let' s start okay. What I call the first step is mindset shift from perfectionism to accept us. You know it is really an important topic. I want You to be aware of this very fact that mop those pictures on pinterest or extremely fabulous videos on youtube or any other stuff that you see on on the Internet are meant to be eye catching and appealing so that you watch them. you Click on them. I it' s their business and they' re doing it in the best possible cases. So, first of all, don' t ever fall into a trap of perfectionism in comparing yourself with them. You can catch the just of their approach or system or even the recipes. That' s it should even forget about doing it in this short amount of time that we perceive they do them all. they have production teams, they would have lots of cleaning afterwards and yeah. That was the first point. Okay, the next step. I want you to encourage collaboration at home. You know this is a principle that is a backbone of the system and it' s something that not only can facilitate your foot, preparation and cooking experience, but also can foster stronger bond with your family members and your children. and what is that simply asking the family members to make dinner together? Most of the times we reject others to come...

...or don' t ask them, even because we' re afraid of the mess that might remain afterwards and it might be true. But how do we expect the rest of the family to feel compassionate about us after lots of cooking and cleaning, appreciate our work and thank us after dinner, when they don ' t even know how much effort it takes to create a meal other than that? Why do we deprive them in ourselves? From this experience, this nice experience, I mean it' s really pleasurable and nice to cook together, set the table together, and you know that it' s also an educational opportunity for the kids, because they' ll learn lots of life skills and it' s awesome for them. We don' t want to raise them without teaching them these skills and then be worried about them in the future when it comes a time that they need to leave alone or apart from us, so it' s a win win. We should take advantage of this daily opportunity and make it to a winning result. Plus we can talk about various random topics, while preparing dinner and fasteing stronger relationships with them. Creative family environment at home and establish a routine that everyone knows that they can chat with each other at this time of the day, also cause we, as Moms, are always chasing any moment to teach something to our child. It might be a good idea to teach them some nutritional information. I mean we should, of course be a good world motor for them in terms of healthy food choices, but also we should equip them with lots of knowledge about food to increase their chance of adopting a healthy lifestyle in the future, which is...

...a dream for all of us. So after all, these benefits that I told you you' re now convinced that you should start and attend them all in the process and really it' s not a one shot phrase for sure. Like any other habit to be made, you need to be consistent and gradually walk towards sticking. This very habit. Okay- and this was step too- will go through step three, which is creating meal list. So what I suggest is to derive a list, the favorite foods of your family. Definitely you need to do that with them. As a team. I mean it has lots of prance. First of all, it increases the chances of your meals, been eaten by them and so decreases the waste of food, which is really perfect. Secondly, it creates a team working environment and they would all feel being impressed and valued. And thirdly, it deletes this unnecessary pressure of selecting the meals and being worried about whether or not they like it or whether or not they will eat it or things like that and don ' t worry by the way if he couldn' t reach to a decent number of meals, that all of your family members love, and I have another solution for that for now. Just let that least to be that short and favored as it is, and let' s go to the next step step, for I want you to make meal carts out of your list. Okay, you have your Mellis M in a paper in your paper in front of you. I want you to make meal cards for each of your meals and what is a mail cart, a simple short piece of paper that, on one side, is the name of the meal. On the other side...

...is the least of ingredients for that meal. You can also mention the recipe of that meal, but not necessary, because probably you know, like the back of your hand, how to Cook your family, favorite meals, but this might be a good idea for the newly experienced recipes and in order for you to have an easy illustration of a male card, I have prepared a template of a mill, cart ready for you that you can pret it out and make it your own. All you have to do is to check moments website in that resources section and, like always, the website actress is in the description back Stan Below Raton, for you, so don' t forget to check it out and do it with your family members like an art project, so be creative and colored and make it your own. it is really fun. Okay and now step five create Neil Board. Now that you have prepared some number of meal cards, what should you do for your weekly meal planning? You just simply need to grab your mill courts each week, be attentive to engage keats and other family members to and choose five for the week days. That simple, why five, because you may want to have a takeaway night or left or night, but totally generalize it to your own family policies. Maybe you want to plan for seven days a week and that' s totally okay. Go with that, so you need a place to put your meal cords on. you need something like a board to hang them on their so that every one clearly knows what is our meal its day? You can design a kind of port for this. You can buy some prepere type from Amazon. There are tons of them after or you can make your own.

As I said, I' ve also prepared a template for you to have a clear picture of what it should look like and then simply hang this fort on your refrigerator or anywhere. You like and put your meal cars for the week from Monday to Friday. In that' s it, your meal planning is done. You' ll never ever be asked these questions mom. What do we have for dinner? You know it' s so relieving that You' re never asked again about these questions right and I have a bonus step for you at the end of this episode have some plan to add recipes to your meal ist. You know every once in a while, like every two weeks, you can try out new recipes, make it again a kind of family activity together, decide what recipe you want to choose then plan for it, write it down on an empty milk, cart on your mail board and then make it together. If everyone like this really new recipe, everyone I mean every one of them: family members then stick to it and add it to your family favorite meal. Otherwise, just forget about it. At least you had some fun making and eating a new food together: okay, Mamma, that' s it! You simply could create a system that even your five year old Kito can plan your meals for the week and it' s awesome, and now, let' s wrap up this episode. We set in order to have an actionable system of meal planning for our Mon Life. We need to first shift our mindset from perfectionism to acceptance and do not ever compare our resources with those perfect stuff on the Internet and just manage our...

...expectations rationally based on our mom life. Secondly, encourage collaboration at home. We want to cultivate a culture of carrying and team work at home in all aspects by starting to cook together and not only decrease laborious chores for ourselves, but also take good use of this situation to foster family bounding. Thirdly, Create Melis. We extract a list of meals that is near and dearer to all of our family' s hearts and all of us a love having them. It' s not restrictive at all, because you already have increased the chance of eating food by your kids when it' s their favorite, and you also know that you can' t swap even on healthy ingredients with healthy version of them easily. If you' re word about their health and I ' ll have good advices for you in I this regard, we will touch it on another episode, so in the fourth step we want to make meal carts. Out of your least, I mean we have the list in hand, and we want to make meal carts out of them and keep them in a box or somber to be used for planning each week and in step. Five. We want to create meal board, make a board to announce each week' s meals on them. So after picking five or whatever number of foods you want to have in this week, you just put it on the mail board, and this way everybody knows that what are we going to eat each day? And, lastly, the bonus step was have some plan to have recipes your meal list. You may want to increase your food variety by trying new foods every once in a while, just at them, if you like them to your meal cards and after some months, you' d have more options to choose from for your weekly meal plank okay, I hope you...
