Well, the title of this episode mightabsorb you cause. If I like it shouldn't be this way. I mean yourafternoons struggling to prepare something to eat, and you want to endthis vicious cycle of always being stressed out at this time of the dayyou might heard about milk, Laddin milk, repping and all that stuff, as asolution to this problem that you are struggling with, you might being towatch a lot of meal prepping videos on Youtube, instagram or throughout theweb, in hope for the perfect recipes systems or anything that create thisseamless frame of a tidy kitchen, happy woman, Nice Neil in no time for yourhome too or even the paintress kind of stuff that you definitely have seen andthey're also pleasant and nice that make us think that why not? We will recreate the same in our housetoo, and you feel uplifted and start for the first week to implement allthey've told you, but in reality it doesn't work that way. It's notapplicable for you. You become angry about yourself. Youcould blame on yourself like always and think of yourself as someone who is notcapable of managing her meals and yeah, it makes sense for all of us. I mean ithappened and is happening for most of us on a daily basis. Does this situation makes sense? Now? What do you do to Canterac thisprocess? Okay, Mamma. I wanted to reiterate myfirm belief that mom's life is really unique, and so it should be consideredwith its own circumstances and we need a solution or a system thatfeats our mom life situation, because, let's face it, we're not leaving inisolation, and we should be rational about that. We're going to walk awaywith a tailor made approach of what I...

...say: Male Management for our mom life.I have an easy system for you, I mean for your meal management and it startswith meal planning in this episode that I'm going to explain in five steps foryou now and I'm going to cover the other parts of his male managementsystem in the upcoming episodes. Maybe next week and the week after that, sograb a pen of paper and, let's start okay. What I call the first step ismindset shift from perfectionism to accept us. You know it is really an importanttopic. I want you to be aware of this very fact that mop those pictures onpinterest or extremely fabulous videos on youtube or any other stuff that yousee on on the Internet are meant to be eye catching and appealing so that youwatch them. You Click on them. I it's their business and they're doing it inthe best possible cases. So, first of all, don't ever fall into a trap ofperfectionism in comparing yourself with them. You can catch the just oftheir approach or system or even the recipes. That's it should even forgetabout doing it in this short amount of time that we perceive they do them all. They have production teams, they would have lots of cleaning afterwards andyeah. That was the first point. Okay, the next step. I want you toencourage collaboration at home. You know this is a principle that is abackbone of the system and it's something that not only can facilitateyour foot, preparation and cooking experience, but also can fosterstronger bond with your family members and your children. And what is that simply asking the family members tomake dinner together?...

Most of the times we reject others tocome or don't ask them, even because we're afraid of the mess that mightremain afterwards and it might be true. But how do we expect the rest of thefamily to feel compassionate about us after lots of cooking and cleaning, appreciate our work and thank us after dinner, when they don't even know howmuch effort it takes to create a meal other than that? Why do we deprive themin ourselves? From this experience, this nice experience, I mean it'sreally pleasurable and nice to cook together, set the table together, andyou know that it's also an educational opportunity for the kids, because they'll learn lots of life skills andit's awesome for them. We don't want to raise them without teaching them theseskills and then be worried about them in the future when it comes a time thatthey need to leave alone or apart from us, so it's a win win. We should takeadvantage of this daily opportunity and make it to a winning result. Plus we can talk about various randomtopics, while preparing dinner and fasteing stronger relationships withthem. Creative family environment at home and establish a routine thateveryone knows that they can chat with each other at this time of the day, also cause we, as Moms, are alwayschasing any moment to teach something to our child. It might be a good ideato teach them some nutritional information. I mean weshould, of course be a good world motor for them in terms of healthy foodchoices, but also we should equip them with lots of knowledge about food toincrease their chance of adopting a healthy lifestyle in the future, whichis a dream for all of us. So after all,...

...these benefits that I told you you'renow convinced that you should start and attend them all in the process and really it's not a one shot phrase forsure. Like any other habit to be made, you need to be consistent and graduallywalk towards sticking. This very habit. Okay- and this was step too- will gothrough step three, which is creating meal list. So what I suggest is to derive a list, the favorite foods ofyour family. Definitely you need to do that with them. As a team. I mean ithas lots of prance. First of all, it increases the chances of your meals, been eaten by them and so decreases the waste of food, which is really perfect. Secondly, it creates a team working environment andthey would all feel being impressed and valued. And thirdly, it deletes thisunnecessary pressure of selecting the meals and being worried about whetheror not they like it or whether or not they will eat it orthings like that and don't worry by the way if he couldn't reach to a decentnumber of meals, that all of your family members love, and I have anothersolution for that for now. Just let that least to be that short and favoredas it is, and let's go to the next step step, forI want you to make meal carts out of your list. Okay, you have your Mellis Min a paper in your paper in front of you. I want you to make meal cards foreach of your meals and what is a mail cart, a simple short piece of paperthat, on one side, is the name of the...

...meal. On the other side is the least ofingredients for that meal. You can also mention the recipe of that meal, butnot necessary, because probably you know, like the back of your hand, howto Cook Your family, favorite meals, but this might be a good idea for thenewly experienced recipes and in order for you to have an easy illustration ofa male card, I have prepared a template of a mill, cart ready for you that youcan pret it out and make it your own. All you have to do is to check momentswebsite in that resources section and, like always, the website actress is inthe description back Stan Below Raton, for you, so don't forget to check it out and doit with your family members like an art project, so be creative and colored andmake it your own. It is really fun. Okay and now step five create NeilBoard. Now that you have prepared some numberof meal cards, what should you do for your weekly meal planning? You justsimply need to grab your mill courts each week, be attentive to engage keatsand other family members to and choose five for the week days. That simple, why five, because you maywant to have a takeaway night or left or night, but totally generalize it toyour own family policies. Maybe you want to plan for seven days a week andthat's totally okay. Go with that, so you need a place to put your mealcords on. You need something like a board to hang them on their so thatevery one clearly knows what is our meal its day? You can design a kind of port for this. You can buy some prepere type from Amazon. There are tons of them after oryou can make your own. As I said, I've...

...also prepared a template for you tohave a clear picture of what it should look like and then simply hang thisfort on your refrigerator or anywhere. You like and put your meal cars for theweek from Monday to Friday. In that's it, your meal planning is done. You'llnever ever be asked these questions mom. What do we have for dinner? You know it's so relieving that you'renever asked again about these questions right and I have a bonus step for you at theend of this episode have some plan to add recipes to your meal ist. You knowevery once in a while, like every two weeks, you can try out new recipes, make it again a kind of family activity together, decide what recipe you wantto choose then plan for it, write it down on anempty milk, cart on your mail board and then make it together. If everyone likethis really new recipe, everyone I meanevery one of them: family members then stick to it and add it to your familyfavorite meal. Otherwise, just forget about it. At least you had some funmaking and eating a new food together: okay, Mamma, that's it! You simplycould create a system that even your five year old Kito can plan your mealsfor the week and it's awesome, and now, let's wrap up this episode. We set inorder to have an actionable system of meal planning for our Mon Life. We needto first shift our mindset from perfectionism to acceptance and do notever compare our resources with those perfect stuff on the Internet and justmanage our expectations rationally...

...based on our mom life. Secondly, encourage collaboration at home. We want to cultivate a culture ofcarrying and team work at home in all aspects by starting to cook togetherand not only decrease laborious chores for ourselves, but also take good useof this situation to foster family bounding. Thirdly, Create Melis. We extract a list of meals that is nearand dearer to all of our family's hearts and all of us a love having them. It's not restrictive at all, because you already have increased the chanceof eating food by your kids when it's their favorite, and you also know thatyou can't swap even on healthy ingredients with healthy version ofthem easily. If you're word about their health and I'll have good advices foryou in I this regard, we will touch it on another episode, so in the fourthstep we want to make meal carts. Out of your least, I mean we have the list inhand, and we want to make meal carts out of them and keep them in a box orsomber to be used for planning each week and in step. Five. We want tocreate meal board, make a board to announce each week's meals on them. Soafter picking five or whatever number of foods you want to have in this week, you just put it on the mail board, and this way everybody knows that what arewe going to eat each day? And, lastly, the bonus step was have some plan tohave recipes your meal list. You may want to increase your food variety bytrying new foods every once in a while, just at them, if you like them to yourmeal cards and after some months, you'd have more options to choose from foryour weekly meal plank okay, I hope you...
